TOUR OF TUCSON MOUNTAINS. The 10th annual Tour of the Tucson Mountains bicycle takes off Sunday, March 31, beginning and ending on the UA campus. Main event is a 100K perimeter race of the Tucson Mountains; but there's also a 50K race begining at Desert Winds Elementary School. Children 12 years and under may participate in a five- or 1/4-mile Fun Ride. Call the Perimeter Bicycling Association of America at 745-2033 for information. SHOOT FROM THE HEART. The American Heart Association hosts Shoot From the Heart, a fundraising sporting clay tournament at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at Rivers Edge Sporting Retreat in Benson. Registration begins at 8 a.m., with beginning and experienced clay shooters welcome. Call AHA at 795-1403 for registration and information. WILD GAME BBQ. The Tucson Rod and Gun Club hosts its annual Wild Game Barbeque from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 31, at the Rod and Gun Club located on Sabino Canyon Road, north of River Road. Cost is $6, $3 children, and free to members. Proceeds benefit the club's scholarship fund. Meat donations are still being accepted. Call Lin Hall at 747-3357 for information. HANDBALL CLUB. The New York Street Handball Club seeks new members. Games are played outdoors with no gloves every Saturday and tournaments are held monthly. Call Rich at 294-8352 for information. SELF-DEFENSE.
