STAFF PICK: What could be wrong about a vodka martini (make
that Absolut) served with several olives (if you like) along with
a carafe (in ice) of even more, breathstoppingly cold Vodka martini?
What could be wrong with a bartender who can make a martini as
dry as Tucson in June, with Boodle's (should you require gin)
and waitpersons who do not hover, but are simply there when you
need them? What could be wrong with the Arizona Inn's Audubon
Lounge, where you can hear Bob Linesch tickle the ivories,
gaze at the Audubon prints and snack on little bowls of nuts (cashews!
filberts!) and rice crackers as you sip this incredibly crisp
martini: two and a half ounces, at $6 for well liquors (Beefeater
and Smirnoff) or $6.50 for premium brands. Civilized. Very civilized.
