STAFF PICK: For the real thing, you can't beat India
Oven's hot chai: sweet, rich and spicy enough to tingle your
tongue. This is no trendy wannabe from some hippie stronghold
in Oregon--it's a timeless classic. But over at Epic Café,
they serve a close second with their iced version. (You can order
it hot, too, but we prefer it on the rocks.) Mixed from concentrate
and made with vanilla rice milk on request, it's got all the spicy
flavor and creaminess, with none of the fat.
