Best Place To Buy Clothes

Buffalo Kids
1702 E. Prince Road

READERS' PICK: Readers love Buffalo Kids, and no wonder. From the front door where the play area for shopping-weary tykes is set up, to the back o' the barn where the maternity rack resides, the "Buff" has plenty of possibilities to keep your young and growing family stylishly clothed. Big draws include the navy-and-white rack, stocked with tops and bottoms for public schoolers required to wear uniforms; and the tie-and-belt rack, which suitably accessorize kids' one-wear occasions. Clean, kindly worn fashions--designer and generic--crowd rounders for every size and age. Shoes, hats, tights, games, books, boots, infant furniture--it's all there at reasonable prices. There are a few new items mixed in as well, and you don't have to graze your way across the parking prairie at the mall to access all this great stuff. There's plenty of parking right in front. Buffalo for Kids buys, sells and trades.

READERS' POLL RUNNER-UP: By now everyone in the 48 contiguous states knows Rosie O'Donnell has a toddler son and that she's obsessed with Baby Gap clothes for him. While we don't quite get the Tom Cruise fetish, we do understand her fascination with Gap Kids (two locations: 4500 N. Oracle Road at the Tucson Mall; and 825 E. University Blvd.). Just like the Gap (for grown-ups), Gap Kids (of which Baby Gap is a part) is stocked with seasonally appropriate, durable, well-made cotton clothing. In addition to good quality, Gap Kids clothes are stylish in a casual way appropriate for children.
