In this case, Dimbulb Crook attempted to pawn said writer's CD collection at a local business that buys, trades and sells used books and CDs. Unfortunately for D.C., he presented said writer's CD collection at the buyback counter to an Alert Employee who happened to be a friend of said writer. A.E. told D.C. he'd take care of the CDs ASAP--and soon enough, a C-O-P arrived.
