X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Liev Schreiber and Hugh Jackman put their all into this dopey but very fun superhero movie. If you think that screaming at the sky is no substitute for dialogue, and you won’t go see the sort of movies that are made for people who yell at the screen, then Wolverine is probably not for you. If you just want to see mutants kick ass and destroy property, welcome to paradise. Nice performances by will.i.am, Dominic Monaghan and Taylor Kitsch rise above the script, and the special-effects sequences are extremely well-realized. So, you know, you can sit home and read Hegel, or you can go see a guy with eye beams fight a teleporting super-villain. Your choice.
