Untraceable

This reasonably diverting but largely stupid and predictable thriller stars Diane Lane, who should be doing better things. Lane plays Special Agent Jennifer Marsh, a specialist in computer crime who is defined by her dead husband and adorable daughter. When Marsh comes across a Web site featuring live video of murders in progress, she does a lot of yelling and then meets a handsome police officer. Meanwhile, someone kills her partner and etc. This is typical of the fare that Hollywood puts out this time of year: movies that aren’t big enough for summer release nor good enough for fall release. Still, if you want to watch people slowly die on the Internet, and your cable connection has been chewed through by a squirrel, I guess you could do worse.
