Tucson Beer Cup
Born and Brewed: Tucson's Beer Cup, a competition among six local brews, takes place from 7 to 10 p.m., Friday, Sept. 21; $25, $20 advance includes 12 tastes of beer and complimentary snacks. Each brewery fields two beers; the winner gets a giant trophy and their own tap handle in the hotel's Tap Room. Competitors are Nimbus, Borderlands, Dragoon, Thunder Canyon, Barrio and 1702.
