Severance
At some point in the near future, the total number of murders depicted on film will exceed the total number of murders committed since the dawn of time. I mean, probably, who knows? Helping us get there is Severance, a witty and strangely entertaining tale about a group of arms dealers who get selected for dismemberment by a committee of disgruntled “customers.” Instead of the current trend for torture porn, the film focuses more on the funny aspects of death by flamethrower. Clearly not everyone’s cup of tea, but if you enjoyed Shaun of the Dead, you’ll probably get a kick out of Severance.
