Was there some copy/paste going on? Or did the power go out mid-article? How is "Ben Sattler remembers a specific moment in January..." the last sentence of the article?
Frank, I hate to be contradictory, but
"Oxford Dictionaries defines 'utopic' as 'Another term for utopian,' which suggests that the latter is the usual word."
Still valid.
As to this childish crayon reference... this was not a normal election, not a normal candidate, and certainly not a normal president-elect. This grief and regrouping is not about losing an election. We've all done it before, but this time IS different. This is about our country doing something very ugly and highly irrational. If the popular vote had the ability to "trump" the electoral, then the fate of the country would not have been almost entirely decided by a swath of the country voting in fear of, rather than in hope for the future.
I was in a dorm situation when I was in my late teens. Granted it was military and more strict, but there was your fair share of underage drinking etc. (which I think should be on the table for those potentially risking their lives for their government, but that's another story...). Marijuana? Never...but it was a different time and place. Regardless, I had a lot of fun but respected myself and my place and never risked damaging it nor getting in trouble.
If I'd had the opportunity to attend a school like the UofA, I would not have treated it as carelessly as so many college students today do. Be mindful of your situation and good fortune and have some self-respect.
Are the asshole parents going through and disliking comments? I can't imagine anyone else who could. Entitled, douchebag, pathetic excuses for parents...
"The intersection in question has long been pointed to as a potential problem for traffic..."
No kidding. It was already a confusing intersection, and then they went and added a dozen businesses, a parking garage, "luxury" student living and HiFi to the mess. I am a streetcar supporter, but not a lot of common sense was implemented in ANY of this. You can't cram downtown Phoenix into a square mile of downtown Tucson, on roads still more suited to horse and buggy than modern traffic.

Glenn, yes. Even Grant, yes. Broadway, no.
How difficult is this?
