New: Oracle Inn Steakhouse
The town of Oracle has 3,500 residents and, up until July 8, had three casual restaurants. On July 9, the renovated steakhouse opened to a throng of hungry locals and served more than 1,000 diners in its first weekend. The opening was a bit overwhelming for the wait staff, and the chef quit after the first day, but another chef is now on board. The restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., serving steaks, smoked sandwiches, salads, grilled lobster tail and more. The second floor houses JD's Sports Bar and Lounge, which is open until 11 p.m. Check it out at 305 E. American Ave. in Oracle; (520) 896-3333.
New(ish): Miss Saigon Bar and Grill
Miss Saigon opened a sister restaurant in the northwest called Miss Saigon Bar and Grill nine months ago. The new restaurant is bigger than the original, has a bar and also serves Thai food along with Vietnamese food at 4650 W. Ina Road; 572-6560.
