Homeowners, what’s on your to-do list? A project for the kitchen, bath, or patio, perhaps? If you’ve been putting it off because of the time and effort required to research products and services, you’ll be pleased to find solutions with just one visit to the Southern AZ Home Show when it returns to the Tucson Convention Center Friday, March 28 through Sunday, March 30.

For three days only, Southern Arizona’s largest and most comprehensive home show will host more than 200 of the area’s most trusted home improvement professionals, all offering the newest trends and practical advice for almost any home projects, with many of them offering show-only specials and discounts. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to shop, compare and save by consulting with these local experts, all in one place!

In addition to local experts, two nationally recognized experts will enlighten and inspire Tucson-area homeowners and consumers when they share their experiences and insights:

  • Kevin O’Connor, host of PBS television’s award-winning, long running home improvement programs This Old House and Ask This Old House, will give show visitors an insider’s look into the leading multimedia home enthusiast brand serving more than 20 million consumers each month with trusted information and expert advice. He’ll also meet with visitors following his appearances on the Fresh Ideas Stage Friday, March 28 at 3 p.m., and on Saturday, March 29 at 11 a.m.

  • Virginia Chamlee is an artist and writer whose expertise in finding secondhand treasures is the focus of her book Big Thrift Energy: The Art and Thrill of Finding Vintage Treasures - Plus Tips for Making Old Feel New. She will help visitors learn how to discover and transform thrift shop treasures when she’s on the Fresh Ideas Stage Friday, March 28 at 2 p.m. and Saturday, March 29 at 12:30 p.m., followed by a meet-and-greet.

Local professionals will also share their expertise throughout the show on the Fresh Ideas Stage, while the new Culinary Showcase Stage will feature Tucson chefs and culinary artists performing live cooking demonstrations, providing visitors with close-up views of their techniques and freshly prepared samples.

Visitors will find more than experts at the Southern AZ Home Show, however, including two unique market areas. The Artisans Market showcases local vendors and small businesses offering a variety of one-of-a-kind art and decor, gifts, handcrafted treasures, gourmet foods, and more. Petopia is where you’ll find the best products and services for your pets, along with adoptable pets from local rescue organizations. Inspiring designer room installations and seasonal displays offer inspiration for your own home projects, while photos with the Easter Bunny and a selection of food trucks make a visit to the show enjoyable for the whole family.

Free parking is available in select lots adjacent to the Tucson Convention Center. For all information about the Southern AZ Home Show, including free and discounted admission for seniors and others, visit SouthernAZHomeShow.com.
