Gavi Italian Restaurant

Our readers like Gavi. Once upon a time, there was only one. They didn't take reservations there, and there was always a wait. Now, there are three at various locations, plus Piazza Gavi, which has a slightly bigger menu and a more casual atmosphere. And sometimes there's still a wait. All are open for lunch and dinner (except the one at Kolb Road and Sunrise Drive). They've got the best fried calamari in town. And if you like pasta, you can get it boiled, baked, al dente or alfredo. Like any American restaurant, the menu is broad. But like any good Italian restaurant, the daily specials are what the chef is excited about and are generally the best bet. There's a great and reasonable wine list, full bar, and you can linger over a cappuccino after dinner.
