Janos Wilder was doing the local sourcing way before local sourcing was cool. Combining his French training with the flavors of the Southwest put him at the top of the food chain decades ago and he's remained there every since. We still miss his old place in the Tucson Museum of Art's Stevens House, but we're so glad he still a downtown fixture who is continuing to innovate. And he even shares his secrets with cooking classes in his delightful Carriage House behind DOWNTOWN Kitchen + Cocktails, which include a chance to taste everything he's teaching you to prepare alongside all the sangria you can drink.
