While the teaming of Jack Nicholson and
Adam Sandler sounded like a good idea,
the end result is a film mind numbingly
stupid, representing all that has gone bad
with recent Sandler comedies. After a
mild mannered advertising exec
(Sandler) is wrongly convicted for assault,
he’s assigned to a famous therapist
(Nicholson) for anger management
training. Nicholson moves into Sandler’s
flat, and the fart jokes ensue. This is not a
good film even for fans of both actors,
because both are well off their games.
Sandler needs to knock it off with this
sentimental crap, and Nicholson needs
to stay far away from Sandler.
