I am glad they won't be at Hi Corbett. I hate watching a game there behind that giant netting they have running around the infield. I would much rather watch a game at TEP...a much more fan-friendly park. I hope it all comes to pass.

    Re: “The Guard Card
Some of these so called leaders or wanabees do not understand the law and treaties with Mexico. National Guard troops cannot patrol the border unless they are unarmed. If they sit in one place, then they can have their weapons. They cannot arrest illegals or drug dealers, but can only call for Border Patrol agents to make the arrest. They can only fire their weapons if fire upon first.

As for Border Patrol agents patrolling so far away from the border, that is where most arrests of illegal aliens and drug runners are made. They need multi-layers of agents in different locations to be effective.

I was on the border with National Guard troops the last time they were here. And I have a family member in the Border Patrol. I am so sick and tired of hearing rants and raves from people who have no idea what they are talking about.

Such a great festival. Lots of fun to see all the different kinds of wares for sale. Always enjoy going to this show. Parking is often difficult as are most downtown festivals, but it is worth the effort. I was totally blown away by a couple of artists, but the best photographer there is Dave Forester. His large canvas prints are just awesome. Plenty of things to enjoy all day long at the fest.
