eegee's isn't the only locally owned fast-food joint with a drive-thru, so why did it win the title of "best" this year? Its sandwiches and fries are pretty darn good; its prices are great; it's got lots of locations (26, at our last count!). And the fast, polite service ... Then there's the pride we all feel surrounding this once-teeny business, which has absolutely thrived since its 1971 inception. But what really makes this place stand out? Oh yeah. The freakin' eegee's. Y'know, the frozen drinks. Soooo good.
