A city-wide minimum wage increase happened in Seattle, and organizers in Tucson want to see it happen here. At a workshop with Derechos Humanos on Friday, Oct. 24, 6 p.m. at the Global Justice Center, Tucson fast-food workers and organizers who took part in the nationwide actions to raise minimum wage will help lead a discussion, along with members of the Service Employees International Union and the 15Now Coalition. Bring a dish to share, and a $5 donation. Child care provided. For more details, visit www.derechoshumanosaz.net.
