What's to worry about, with pre-teens at their most awkward physical
stage hurtling over concrete terra-forms? All this in the environs of a
hobo jungle at the lovely Santa Rita Park, where on the second and
fourth Sunday of every month, while wearing your ripped jeans and
Thrasher mag T-shirt, you can get a free sandwich from friendly
church-going folk who will share the good word with you as the train
hurtles past on its way to Nogales. The park is free and open from 6
a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
