The Interstate 10 drive to Phoenix has always been boring—and
sometimes dangerous. However, for baseball lovers, an enjoyable,
affordable and efficient alternative to driving exists. At only $18 for
adults, or $15 for kids 2 to 12, fans can travel to Chase Field to see
the Diamondbacks play—for the final times this season on Sept. 26
and 27. Leaving from Foothills Mall 2 1/2 hours before game time,
passengers are dropped off right at a stadium gate. The bus then leaves
Phoenix 30 minutes after the game. The camaraderie, the
climate-controlled temperature and the cost all make the Diamond
Express a true home run.
