The animal instinct, the simple undifferentiated desire. Just
watch people as they grab their bags of chili dogs and fries at Pat's
and head for their vehicles. Maybe one out of 10 will place the bags
down and just drive away. The other nine will reach into the fries,
initially withdraw from the blast of heat, then reach in again and grab
two or three of the steaming-hot fries. Risking burnt fingers, burnt
lips and a burnt tongue, they don't want to leave until they've had
that First Fries Fix.
