Pima County Library's free comics convention, MegaMania!, is back on Saturday, July 12. This is the fourth summer the library has sponsored this popular event for teens, those in their 20s and those who just love celebrating all things comics, anime, cosplay and art.

Do you have a story inside you? Do you sketch or doodle? Do you like comics or anime?
MegaMania!! is all the comics, gaming, cosplay, and writing and art workshops you’ve loved the past four years, but better than ever! The Pima County Public Library is partnering with Pima Community College to put on a mega-sized comics and gaming convention like no other. It’s free and open to the public.
Become a part of the stories, books, and comics that you love. Your library loves them as much as you do! Here’s just a mini sample of the mega-fun you can have:
Workshops with local authors and artists
Video games and board games, including a Yu-Gi-Oh! tournament and life-sized Angry Birds
Cosplay (costumes) creation station, workshop, and contest
Anime Astronomy with Portable Planetariums
Play the hit Japanese game show Silent Library
DC vs. Marvel superhero giant chess
Create your own voiceover for your favorite anime
Try Japanese snacks and learn calligraphy and martial arts
