It's a good night for music lovers. Of course it's happening all at once.
Two of Portland's stellar indie rock bands Menomena and The Helio Sequence are performing tonight at Plush, 340 E. Sixth St. Gene Armstrong featured this show last week and Dan interviewed Menomena's Danny Seim for the Phoenix New Times three years ago. Tickets are only $15 and the Plush event page says the doors open at 7 p.m. but we all know that Menomena won't take the stage until 10 p.m. and Helio Sequence will start until midnight.
Catch Toro y Moi and Vinyl Williams tonight at the Rialto Theatre, 318 E. Congress St. You should check out Armstrong's stellar interview with Toro Y Moi's Chaz Bundick in last week's edition. Who knew Bundick was such a big country music fan? The doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20. Click here to purchase your tickets.
