Earlier this month, the retail store Wine Depot on Grant closed down, but the owners are heading downtown to bring their expertise to a wine bar, Unplugged Tucson at 118 E. Congress, next to whatever the heck is happening with that Voodoo Jack's space. They're still in the midst of getting everything together according to their Facebook page, but they're planning to open this weekend to catch the Second Saturday crowd. Wine is certainly available (on tap, even) up and down Congress currently, but generally as a bit of an afterthought to beer or cocktails, so seems like there might be a niche to fill. Good luck, Unplugged.
