Congressman Ron Barber stopped by AZ Illustrated Politics last night to talk about his efforts to expand health-care options for veterans, his concern about sequester cuts, his concerns about immigration reform and his thoughts on background checks on gun sales. Then former Pima County Democratic Party chairman Jeff Rogers, former state lawmaker Frank Antenori and local business consultant Miguel Ortega talked about the Gang of Eight's comprehensive immigration reform package, Antenori's plans to run a referendum on Gov. Jan Brewer's proposed Medicaid expansion and the controversy over El Rio Golf Course and Grand Canyon University.
