Keep watching this page for Congressional District 8 special primary-election results.
Secretary of State Ken Bennett's office reports that the first results—mostly from early-voter and mail-in ballots—will be published around 8 p.m.
Word around town is that Election Day turnout has been fairly light. That means the early-voter/mail-in count may constitute the bulk of the results. In other words, barring a surprisingly close race, we will know the GOP nominee around 8 p.m.
Whether it's a blowout or it's close, keep your eye here for results, reaction and photos.
