What to Listen to Wednesday: Bonus Thursday Edition
We somehow missed Rialto kingpin Curtis McCrary's pick for WtLtW yesterday and since it was his birthday, it seems important to get his pick in, so here's Curtis' take on "One of Life's Pleasures" by Paul White ft. Danny Brown:
The new Paul White collection has some of the underground's finer new rapping talents over his distinctively catchy melodic appropriations. Danny Brown, bemohawked and sounding for all the world like Andre 3000 with a mild case of hiccups, turns this from an interesting confection into a straight-up banger.
