The Less Than Astute Political Positions of London Looters
There's certainly some complicated issues at work going on with the English riots (the best coverage I've seen is from the BBC and their stellar multimedia page), but then there are some stupid, selfish people looking to get some free stuff and live out some destructive fantasies. These women, recorded last night drunk on rosé and violence, are a particularly poor representation of English youth.
Girl 1: It’s the government’s fault.Girl 2: Yeah… I dunno.
Girl 1: Conservatives!
Girl 2: Yeah, whatever, who it is, I dunno.
Girl 1: It’s not even a riot, it’s about showing the police we can do what we want.
